Economic policy
-Pledge to significantly increase tax rate for those earning over 125000, raising corporation tax by 5%
-Pledged 6 big nationalizations: rail, mail, water, energy, broadband and ending Private Finance Initiatives
Law and Order
Corbyn opposed cuts to police numbers, finding ground with Blairites
-Focused more on dealing with poverty and inequality
Welfare
Strongly opposed the benefit cuts and also pledge in 2019 to replace universal credit
-Argued for a wholly state-run NHS, opposed to New Labour
-Pledged to scrap tuition fees, end the charitable status of private schools
Foreign policy
-2019 Labour manifesto included that they would have a second referendum on brexit
-Labour pledged not to pull out of NATO and pay for Trident due to public and MP pressure, although Corbyn as a backbencher was generally anti-NATO and anti-Trident
