Antenatal- blood (thalassaemia,rhesus, Down’s, syphillis,hep b, rubella), scans for structural anomalies and to support Down’s tests, repeat diabetic eye
Newborn- physical exam in first 72hrs, newborn hearing, newborn blood spot (sickle, CF, metabolic diseases, congenital hypothyroidism), infant 6-8 week check
