Absolute Monarchy
A system of government in which the head of state is a hereditary position and the king or queen has almost complete power.
APC (All Progressives Congress)
Nigerian political party, It’s a center-right party formed in 2013 through a merger of oppostion parties. It represents a coalition of political interest with the aim of unseating the then dominant People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and has governed Nigeria at the federal level.
Three Four type of truth claims

Biafra War
aka Nigerian Civil War, 1967-1970, conflict between the seccessionist state of Biafra, and the government. Ended with significant loss of life and ended with Biafra’s reintegration into Nigeria.
Caused by ethnic and political tensions, economic disparities and a struggle for control in Nigeria.
Boko Haram
A Nigeria-based group that seeks to overthrow the current Nigerian government and replace it with a regime

BA (Bureaucratic Authoritarian)
A system in which the state of bureaucracy and the military share a belif that a technocratic leadership, focused on rational, objective, and technical expertise, can solve the problems of the country without public participation
Cult of Personality
a country uses technique of mass media, propaganda, the big lie, spectable, the arts, patriotism, and government organized demonstrations and rallie to create an idealize, heroic, and worshipful image of a leader, often through unquestioning flattery and praise
Direct Democracy
A form of gov in which policies and laws are decided by a majority of all those eligible rather than by a body of elected representatives
Eurozone Crisis
Sudden stop of the flow of foreign capital into countries that had substantial deficits and were dependent on foreign landing. A debt crisis.

- Power to negotiate and sign treaties
- Interpret and apply law
- Authority to make, amend, and repeal laws.

The same territory is controlled by two levels of government. Like national and state govs
Forbearance
The action of refraining from exercising a legal right, especially enforcing the payment of a debt
Head of government vs. Head of state
- The executive role that deals with the everyday tasks of running the state, such as formulating and executing policy
- The executive role that symbolizes and represents the people both nationally and internationally
