A player who has no funds remaining on the table to continue participating in the round, but who still wants to contend for a portion of the pot
Ante
A predetermined wager in which each player is required to make
Bet
An action in which a player places, gaming chips into the pot on any betting round
Betting round
A complete wagering cycle and a hand of poker, after all players have called or folded
Blind bet
A mandatory wager and some poker games which only players sitting in Pacific betting positions at a poker table shall be required to place prior to looking at any cards
Burn card
A card taken from the top of a deck, which is discarded face down, which is not I play and the identity remains unknown.
Buttons

Call
A wager made in an amount equal to the immediate preceding wager
Capped
The last raise from that betting round
Check
A player waves the right to initiate the bedding and abetting round, but retains the right to ask for another player initiates the betting
Common card

Community cards

Cover cards

Open limit
The batting structure in some poker games. Example: the table limit is 1-3 dollars. Which means a player made that one two or three dollars in any betting round.
Pot
The amount that is awarded to the winning player or players, at the conclusion of a round of play

Protected hand

Calling for clock

Dead button
When a player that is a small blind, leave the table, a dead button is in play the next hand. After the action is done, a player request to see the next card in sequence. Rabbit hunting is not allowed.
Killing winning hands
A dealer cannot kill a winding hand that has been turned up and was placed on the table
Verbal declarations
Verbal declarations in tern are binding
One motion
When, raising a player must either put out the raise, and one motion, or announce the amount
Verbally, disclosing contacts

Going south
A player has removed chips or currency from the table during a session
Going north
A player has improperly added chips to the table stacks
