Forming word patters by repeating initial consonant sounds. It depends on sound, not on spelling.
Alliteration
Example: “Money’s Mushrooms makes meals marvellous”

A reference to a famous literary, mythological, Biblical or historical figure or event
Allusion
Example: “He met his Waterloo. Cupid’s arrow struck them”
Allusion
Directly addressing a person or thing as if it/s/he were really there. Very often, apostrophe is to a god, shots or some supernatural thing, like death, night or fate. It may also be to a person, if the person isn’t there, or if the speaker doesn’t think the person is there

It occurs when there is a difference between what is said as what is meant, or what is expected and what actually happens.

Example: it’s pouring outside. I just saw an old man building an ark.
