Alliteration
The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of closely connected words.
Allusion
An expression designed to call something to mind without mentioning it explicitly.
Assonance
The repetition of the sound of a vowel or letter in non-rhyming stressed syllables near enough to each other for the echo to be discernible.

Ballad
A poem or song narrating a story in short stanzas.
Biographical Poems
Same as regular biographies but with an artistic flair.
Blank verse
No rhyme uses iambic pentameter
Cinquain
A five line stanza
