What is the structure of the Extract from The Prelude by William Wordsworth?
Iambic pentameter= to give the poem a consistent pace
As the poem progresses the journey the poet is on becomes rougher and words like “and” is repeated to give it a breathless pace and feel
What is the structure like of London?
Written in four stanzas with a regular alternate scheme-could reflect the walking pace of the narrator as he walks around London
The last line in each stanza is powerful and sums up the stanza
