Q

charge of the light brigade structure

A

-irregular stanza length to unsettle the reader, chaos mimicks how the soldiers were being shot at by an enemy they could not fairly counter and tennyson is restricted to counter opinions of those in power
-rhyming couplets between indented lines create repetitive inevitability, outcome of charge decided beforehand
-dactylic dimeter mimics sound of galloping into battle
-each stanza ends with end stop fate finalised
