Assonance
Repetition of the same or similar vowel sounds

Places two unlike things next to eachother

When u give a non human thing human qualities

Enjambment
The continuation from one line of poetry to the next

Repetition
The use of the same word twice or multiple times
Time after time;
Meter
The rhythmic pattern of a poetic line

implies a distance between what is said and what is meant.
