Poetry that tells a story to entertain.
Narrative poetry
A short poem if personal feelings and emotions, which may or may not be set to music often, involves the use if regular meter
Lyrical poetry
Poetry that deals with amusing happenings
Humorous poetry
Poetry composed of rhyme or I rhymed lines that have no set patterns
Free verse poetry
A poem of four lines
Quatrain
A poem with 5 lines
Cinquain

A short humorous poem of consisting of five lines: line 1,2, and 5 of a limerick have seven to ten syllables and rhyme with one another lines 3 and 4 have five to seven syllables and also rhyme with each other
Limerick
A long narrative poem,usually chronicling the deeds of a folk hero and written using both dramatic and narrative literary techniques
Epic poetry
A lyric poem that consists of 14 lines which usually have one or more conventional rhyme schemes
