another example of figurative language. It describes something by saying it is something else, For example, ‘His curiosity was an endless road

Giving human traits to a non- human
Iambic pentameter
a line of verse with five metrical feet, each consisting of one short (or unstressed) syllable followed by one long (or stressed) syllable, for example Two households, both alike in dignity
Repetition
the recurrence of an action or event.
Rhyme
Wall(of a word, syllable, or line) have or end with a sound that corresponds to another.
Hyperbole
exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally
Extended metaphor
When an author exploits a single metaphor or analogy at length through multiple linked
Symbolism
the use of symbols to represent ideas or qualities.
