Q

Recite “The Quality of Mercy Speech”:

A

The Quality of mercy is not strained
It droppeth as a gentle rain from heaven, upon the place beneath
Tis twice blest, it blesses him that gives and him that takes
Tis mightiest in the mightiest,
It becomes a throned monarch better than his crown
His scepter shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty,
Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings
But mercy is above this sceptered sway,
It is enthroned in the hearts of kings,
It is an attribute to God himself
An earthly power doth then show likest God’s,
When mercy seasons justice.
Therefore Jew, though justice be thy plea,
Consider this, that in the course of justice, none of us should see salvation
We do pray for mercy, and that same prayer doth teach us all to render the deeds of mercy.

Q

Sing “The Song”

A
Tell me where is fancy bred?
In the heart or in the head?
How begot?
How nourish-ed?
Reply. Reply.
It is engendered in the eyes.
With gazing fed and fancy dies.
In the cradle where it lies.
Let us all ring fancy’s knell.
I’ll begin it
Ding dong bell.

Q

Recite “The Eagle”

A

He clasps the crag with crooked hands
Close to the sun in lonely lands
Ring’d with the azure world, he stands

The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls
He watches from his mountain walls
And like a thunderbolt, he falls.

Q

Recite “When I was in Love with You”

A

Oh when I was in love with you
Then I was clean and brave
And miles around the wonder grew
How well did I behave

And now the fancy passes by
And nothing will remain
And miles around they’ll say that I
Am quite myself again
