Naomi Baxter is a 16 year old girl, has a three week history of worsening dry, non-productive cough and a low-grade fever. She also complains of headache, sore throat, fatigue and malaise. Treatment with amoxicillin did not work. The doctor notices she has a rash. Please describe it and what organism could have caused it.

A

Maculo-papular rash involving the arms, legs and hands.
Moderate atypical community acquired pneumoniae.
Mycoplasma pneumoniae
Erythema multiformae- look like targets, rings within rings
