typically seen in patients with hiv.
symptoms of pneumonia
cough. sputum. dyspnoea. chest pain: may be pleuritic fever
signs of pneunonia
signs of systematic inflammatory response fever Tachycardia reduced oxygen saturations reduced breath sounds
management of pneumonia
antibiotics to treat the underlying Infection
Oxygen therapy if the patient is hypoxaemic
Intravenous fluids if the patient is hypotensive or shows signs of dehydration.
