What are 3 ways to become a US Citizen?
Naturalization; Law of Soil; Law of Blood.
What are the requirements of becoming a naturalized citizen of the US
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have been a legal permanent resident for five years
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- Be of good moral character
- Show that they understand U.S. civics.
What are the steps of the Naturalization Process?
- Fill out an Application with USCIS
- Interview
- Take the citizenship exam
- If you pass you attend ceremony
What is the Magna Carta?
1215; A document that King John was forced to sign; Limited the power of the king and gave rights to nobles.
What is the English Bill of Rights?
1688; A document that gave citizens rights and further limited monarchy power.
