TIME-LIMITED endeavor undertaken to create a UNIQUE product, service, or result.
What is the difference between projects and operations?
Project is time-limited/finite and has not been attempted before by the organization, while operations may go on perpetually.
Note: When planning, the project team should understand/consider the needs of the group that will take over operations/maintenance once the project is closed.
