Romeo goes into Juliet’s orchard and they proclaim their love for each other. Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence to tell about his plans and the Friar agrees hoping it will end the families’ feud. The Nurse goes to Romeo and he tells her where the wedding will be. Juliet meets Romeo at the place and Friar Lawrence marry the two.

Tybalt kills Mercutio and Romeo becomes so enraged that he kills Tybalt and Romeo is banished. Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence and almost kills himself but Friar Lawrence tells him to stop crying and go with Juliet. Romeo spends his last night in Verona with Juliet. Lady Capulet tells Juliet that she must marry Paris and Capulet threatens to disown her if she doesn’t.

Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a potion that will make seem like she died in her sleep. It will keep her sleep for 42 hours and the Friar will send a message to Romeo of the plan. The wedding is moved to Wednesday instead of Thursday so Juliet takes the potion Tuesday night.

A servant tells Romeo that Juliet is dead. Romeo wants to see it for himself so he goes to an apothecary who gives him poison. Romeo goes to the tomb and runs into Paris and ends up killing him. He sees Juliet “dead”, drinks the poison, and then dies instantly. Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead and then stabs herself with a dagger. Friar Lawrence explains everything to everyone and the two families decide to end their feud.

Servants of the Capulet’s and the Montagues fight and the Prince says that if either house disturbs peace once more they will be put to death. Romeo is brooding over Rosaline so his friends bring him to a party. Romeo sees Juliet and they fall in love with each other but later realize they are enemies.
