Q

Destructive plate boundary

A

when a oceanic plate and a continental plate meet causing the denser plate to submerge. As the oceanic plate is submerged it melts creating magma which breaks to the surface to form deep sided compute volcanoes. Eruptions are often violent and destructive.

Q

Constructive plate boundary

A

two plates are moving apart. magma is firing its way to the surface . as it breaks through the overlaying crust it causes earthquakes. on reaching the surface it forms volcanoes

Q

Conservative plate boundary

A

two continental plates going past each other. They either move in opposite directions to each other or in the same direction but at different speeds . Earthquakes occur as the plats jerk past each other

Q

how are earthquakes formed at destructive and conservative plate boundaries

A

as the plates collide or move past each other they get stuck and pressure builds up .when the pressure gets too much it breaks and releases form the focus causing an earthquake
