Q
Difference between an escharotomy and a fasciotomy
A
Escharotomy divides circumferential burn tissue to allow perfusion to be maintained.
Fasciotomy divides the muscle fascia to allow muscles to expand and maintain perfusion (for compartment release- release of pressure inside)
