Why is a Plant cell different from an animal cell?
Plant cells have 3 different organelles, a plant do not have. Moreover, a plant can make its own food through photosynthesis.
What are the 3 organelles called?
Chloroplast, Vacuole and cell wall
What is the Chloroplasts function?
It absorbs sunlight by using the leafs, for the plant to make its own food
What is the Vacuole’s function?
It storages waste, water and food. It also contains sap.
What is the cell wall’s function?
It supports the plant, for it structure.
What does chloroplast contain that makes it able to absorb sunlight?
A green chemical called a chlorophyll, absorbs sunlight.
How does photosynthesis occur?
When the leaf takes sunlight and carbon dioxide, and water. This produces glucose(sugar), which will be used for the plant.
What does glucose store?
Chemical energy
