Fokker Eindecker

A

The ‘scourge’ of the air in 1915 due to its new interrupter gear, designed by Anthony Fokker
- Synchronised the propeller with the gun
- Meant the pilot could fire more accurately
Allowed the Germans to dominate the skies until the summer of 1916
Allies finally recreated this with the Vickers-Challenger
