Malayalam has things called locative endings. This is where you change the way you say the place to tell someone where you are from. What would I say if I wanted to talk about America? What about Kerala?

Which locative do you use for places that end in -a or -e? -am? And if the place ends in a consonant?
-a or -e = yil
-am = thil
Consonant = il
What is the difference between ninnaanu and aanu?
Ninnaau means from (ex. Nyan Kochiyil ninnaanu) while just aanu means it is in someplace (Kochi keralathil aanu)

Ann Arbor Americayil aanu (aa-ni)?

Ninnú(nin) + aanú(aa-ni)
