Why can’t older people hear high pitches.
A
As you age the little hairs in your cochlea slowly get damaged. The first ones which get damaged are the high-frequency ones. So getting older you will always be less able to hear higher frequencies.

A
A frequency that is higher than 20,000 Hz, not audible by the human ear.
