Before Taxi Brief
Seatbelts
Airvents - 2 above, 2 above passenger, 1 each by side door. If motion sick keep eyes open and look out to the horizon
Fire - Fire extinguisher in between both seats, pull pin and point at base of fire
Emergency - Follow my instructions, top latch then bottom one
Talking - have a sterile cockpit when performing maneuvers, exchange controls with ‘my controls’ & ‘your controls’
Any Questions
Fuel Selector - Located here, right tank forward, left tank up, off aft. Only Time use ‘OFF’ is in emergency, lift the middle pin. Don’t pull the pin during normal tank switches
Departure brief
Abort takeoff for any fires, red annunciators, or loss of directional control.
Engine failure below 1000 AGL - pitch for VG (76) and land on remaining runway or 30 deg. heading
Engine failure above 1000 AGL or turned crosswind - Pitch VG and return to land on runway, taxiway, or suitable off field site.
