A
Allows instruction to be fetched whilst previous one is being decoded and the one before that is being executed

Flushing the program
A
When a program contains loops you will need to “flush the pipe”
This means removing any other pending instructions that are being fetched or decoded.
This compromises how efficeient pipelining is however it is still prefered to use
