An amendment is a correction or addition, in this case, to the Constitution. There are 27.

Must have lived in the state for at least a year, must be at least 18 yrs. old, and must be a citizen of the U.S.
How long can Congress adjourn for without the approval of the other house?
One house of Congress can adjourn for up to three days without the approval of the other house. Anything over three days requires approval from the other house.
How many votes does the Electoral College have? How is this split?
The Electoral College has 538 votes. This number represents the number in all of Congress, which is 535 (435+100) and 3 votes for the District of Columbia.
