What is a flight review and reg?
61.56 | One hour ground and one hour flight reviewing current general operating flight rules of the FAR a review of the maneuvers. More time can be done if needed. Must be done every 24 calendar months unless a new certificate or rating is received.
What is currency and reg?
61.57 | You cannot carry passengers unless you have completed 3 takeoffs and landings within the preceding 90 days. Landings at night must be done to a full stop.
When would you want to log flight hours?
Any experience that goes towards preparing for a check ride, flight review, or 90-day currency.
Change of address and reg?
61.60 | 30 days after that date must be reported to the FAA Airman Certification Branch.
What are the privileges & limitations of a PPL and reg?
61.113 | You cannot be paid to fly passengers or property, you may equally share the operating expenses of a flight with passengers, you can demo an aircraft for sale, provide airplane rides to raise money for charity, participate in search and rescue, and tow gliders.

What must you have to operate under BasicMed rules?
Currently hold and have a valid US drivers license and have held a medical past July 14th, 2006.
What must you do to operate under BasicMed?
- Complete the Medical Education Course
- Retain the Certificate of Completion
- Complete Section 2 off the FAA Form 8700-2 or the electronic 8500-8 (must be completed every 24 calendar months)
What are limitations for BasicMed?
Must comply with with any limitations associated with their drivers license, completed the Medical Education Course & Medical Examination and keep proof of completion in logbook.
What BasicMed Aircraft limitations are there?
Aircraft not authorized to carry more than 6 passengers, not carry more than 6 passengers, takeoff weight no greater than 6,000lbs, no flying over 18,000’ MSL, not above 250 KIAS, or outside the US.
What is the difference between proficiency and currency?
Current is in regard to legality, proficiency is your competency or skills in operation of the aircraft.

What are the different types of AD’s?

What is a Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin?
Information tool, contains non regulatory information and guidance, but it doesn’t meet the criteria for an AD.

Replenishing hydraulic fluid, changing oil, replacing safety belts.
