Privileges

b. May not pay less than pro rata share of operating expenses of flight with passengers. fuel, oil, airport expenditures, or rental fees.
c. May be reimbursed for aircraft operating expenses that are directly related to search and location operations.
e. May demonstrate an aircraft to a perspective buyer if the private pilot is a salesman and have at least 200hour logged flight time.
f. May act as a PIC on an aircraft towing glider providing, they meet the requirements under 14 CFR 61.69
g May act as a PIC for the purpose of conducting a production fight test provided, they meet requirements of 61.113

Being current means that you have accomplished the minimum FAA requirements and that you are legal to fly.
Current does not mean that you are proficient, being proficient means that a pilot is capable of conducting a flight with high degree of competence. It’s about being safe and smart in terms of experience and proficiency.
