Opus/No
Op means opus which is the work of music that is numbered usually to indicate the approximate (chronological) order that it was written by the composer. Op. 46 is the 46th composition by Clementi. The No is a number added to the Opus number if there have been companion pieces created together. It identifies the piece within the composer’s work / indicates the specific place of a given work within a music catalogue. So Op 46 No 7 is Clementi’s 46th work of which this is the seventh piece within it.
[chronological work of composer, number within that work???? - COMPLETE DEFINITION]
