To delay or postpone
Ex: Let’s put off our meeting, cause I’ve got some issues with my documents
Take for granted
Not appreciating somebody’s help, care or etc. because you assume they will always provide it or be there, no matter what.
Ex: The girl takes her boyfriend’s care for granted, as she knows he will always care for her.
Break the ice
to make people comfortable when they feel shy or uncomfortable in a new group.
Ex: he’s a master of breaking the ice for the newcomers
On the same page
To have a similar opinion or understanding.
Ex: We are on the same page with my girlfriend, so we won’t have any problems

Ex: you should’ve mentioned some important points; by and large, you did a great job.
Out of the blue
When something happens unexpectedly or suddenly
Ex: I was walking in the park when, out of the blue, it started raining.
Caught off guard
Being surprised or unprepared for something unexpected.
Ex: I was caught off guard when she kissed me.
Cut off
To interrupt or stop supplying something
Ex: The company cut its employees off from meals
