To search for; to get information/details.

> I haven’t talk to Suzan for so long. I should look up her on Facebook.

To think about or reflect on the past.
> It’s very common as we get older to look back on our lives.
To look into
To investigate the situation and trying to find the solution.
> Imagine that is a problem at your work and you don’t have a solution yet, but you need to provide someone. You might say something like: I don’t have the solution right now but I’m looking into it.
