Define: Aperture
The lens size opening controls the amount of light entering the camera.

The time the camera’s sensor is exposed to light.

The distance between the lens and the image sensor, affecting the feild of view.

The aesthetic quality of the blur produced in the out-of-focus parts of an image.

The range of distance in a photograph that appears acceptably sharp.
Define: Rule of Thirds
An image is divided into nine equal parts by two horizontal and two vertical lines.

Visual lines in a photograph that guide the viewer’s eye to the subject.

Using elements within the scene to create a natural frame around the subject.

The distribution of visual weight within a photograph.

The way objects appear in relation to each other based on their position and distance.
