A
Brown spoke to a child who pronounced fish to as ‘fis’. Brown responded with ‘fis’ and the child went ‘no, ‘fis’ ‘
Then Brown reverted back to ‘fish’ and the child went “yes fis”

A
Skinner - the child is copying the adult, and knows how the word sounds but cannot physically pronounce the fricative /sh/
