Double Engine Failure at low altitude - Below 2500ft AGL
Start Switch - Press left or right Speed - Glide 150kts PA - Alert cabin crew and passengers Gear - Down (up if landing on water) Flaps - As required If no relight: Condition levers - Feather/shut off

Condition levers - taxi
Condition lever - feather/shut off
Engine Failure on take off before V1
Power levers - ground range
Apply maximum braking
Apply reverse thrust if required
Maintain directional control
Engine failure on take off after V1
Condition lever - taxi
Condition lever - feather/shut off
Power lever - fully forward
Fuel and hyd LP valve captions - confirm shut
If fuel and hyd LP valve captions do not indicate shut:
Fuel and hyd LP valve switches - select shut
Engine failure or in-flight shut down
Condition lever - taxi
Condition lever - feather/shut off
Power lever - fully forward
Fuel and hyd LP valve captions - confirm shut
If fuel and hyd LP valve captions do not indicate shut:
Fuel and hyd LP valve switches - select shut
Engine fire on the ground
Firebell - cancel
Condition lever - taxi
Condition lever - feather/shut off
Fuel and hyd LP valve captions - confirm shut
If fuel and hyd LP valve captions do not indicate shut:
Fuel and hyd LP valve switches - select shut
When RPM less than 15%:
Fire extinguisher switch - shot 1
Stopwatch - start
ATC - Advice
Engine fire or severe mechanical failure in flight
Firebell - cancel
Condition lever - taxi
Condition lever - feather/shut off
Power lever - fully forward
Fuel and hyd LP valve captions - confirm shut
If fuel and hyd LP valve captions do not indicate shut:
Fuel and hyd LP valve switches - select shut
When RPM less than 15%:
Fire extinguisher switch- shot 1
Stopwatch - start
If fire indications persist after 30 seconds:
Fire extinguisher switch - shot 2
Fumes, smoke or fire in flight deck or cabin
Oxygen masks - Don/set 100% emerg
Pilot communication - establish
Erratic engine behaviour
Condition lever - fully forward
Power lever (affected engine) - retard (not less than 10% torque)
TTL computer (affected engine ) - off
Prop syncro - off
Smoke in toilet
Oxygen masks - don/set 100% emerg
Pilot communication - establish
Pitch control jam
Controlling pilot - call “pitch jam”
Other pilot - prepare to take control
Controlling pilot - pull pitch disc handle
Both pilots - attempt to control the aircraft
Pilot with free controls - Fly the aircraft
Roll control jam
Controlling pilot - call “roll jam”
Other pilot - prepare to take control
Controlling pilot - pull roll disc handle
Both pilots - attempt to control the aircraft
Pilot with free controls - Fly the aircraft
Spurious stick push
Is aircraft in incipient stall condition?
Yes - correct aircraft attitude - End
No -
if forward stick force continues:
Both [stall] red captions - press at same time
Loss of cabin pressure
Is indicated cabin altitude greater than 10000ft?
No - warning indication is false - end
Yes - Oxygen masks - don
Pilot communications - establish
Emergency descent low speed
Power levers - flight idle Conditions levers - set 100% RPK ATC transponder - 7700 Gear selector - down Flap selector - 15 Descent airspeed - 160kts IAS
