Contraindicated in first trimester of pregnancy
Common side effect: rash
Most serious - agranulocytosis. Reduced neutrophil count. Manifests as sore throat, fever, mouth ulcers. MUST warn patients before starting ATD.

Treats: hyperthyroidism
First line treatment during pregnancy
