Sincalide dose (nuclear medicine)
0.02 micrograms/kg over 60 minutes (GBEF should be greater than 38)
Morphine sulfphate dose (nuclear medicine)
0.02-0.04 mg/kg or a standard 2 mg dose over 30-60 minutes
Dobutamine MOA and effects
B1 and B2 stimulation causing increased heart rate, blodo pressure and myocardial contractility
Phenobarbital for biliary atresia (dose)
5mg/kg/day for 5 days
Dipyridamole - MOA and Trivia
Inhibits the breakdown of adenosine - which builds up. Adenosine is a potent vasodilator.
No caffeine.
Adenosine - MOA and Trivia
Vasodilator
No caffeine. Side effects are worse than with dipyrimadole. Rare side effect is AV block - which will get better when adenosine short half life runs out.
Regadenoson - MOA and Trivia
Selective A2A - causes fever side effects
No caffeine.
Dobutamine - MOA and Trivia
Beta 1 agonist - acts like exercise by increasing heart rate and myocardial contraction.
Patient can NOT be on a beta-blocker.
Best used in patients who cannot have adenosine or dipyrimadole. Better in patients with COPD or Asthma, or who have taken caffeine in the last 12 hours.
Avoid with LBBB

Antidote for adenosine
Half life is shorter than Dipyrimadole - so must continue to monitor.
Name the radiotracers used to treat bone pain.
