Unfair images of a certain group

Tells you to bases your opinion on what someone else thinks- usually a celebrity
Name calling
Makes accusations but doesn’t give any facts to support the claim
Ethical appeal
Tries to gain moral support by linking the claim to a widely accepted value
Scare tactic
Makes people feel as if their safety, security or health is in danger
Appeals to pity
Persuades by tapping into people’s compassion for others
Appeals to vanity
Uses flattery to win people over
