Groups of three

Alliteration
Language used to pull on the reader’s heart strings.
Emotive Language
Including information that is true with numbers and quotes to support it.
Facts/ Statistics
Using words such as ‘you’ and ‘we’ to include the reader.
Direct address/Personal pronouns
A question that has a somewhat obvious answer.
Rhetorical questions
Including the same word or phrase more than once.
Repetition
Including emphasis for effect and to get a point across.
Exaggeration
Adding in certain quotes/lines that the reader may find funny.
Humour
Adding in your own ideas on the text.
