Money effects what households are able to buy.

Sometimes fresh vegetables will be grown in small gardens.

Cultural diets influence our choice of diet.
Jewish and Muslim faiths don’t allow themselc=ves to eat pork.

The foods that are not available in that country.

What do carbohydrates do?
Carbohydrates will give you energy over a long period of time and will convert into fat if not burnt.
What will fat do?
Your body uses fat to keep warm, protect organs such as your kidneys and will help you absorb vitamins.
What does protein do?
Protein makes new blood cells and helps your body grow and repair itself.
What do iron, calcium and other materials do?
Eating meat, leafy green vegetables and nuts etc. Gives you iron that is good for your blood and gives you strong teeth.
What does fibre do?
Fibre is found in vegetables, fruit, whole wheat bread etc. It is needed to keep the waste in your body moving.
What do vitamins do?
Vitamins are found in all food groups but in fruit, it is more likely and vitamins help fight germs and give energy.
