Who is insured under Part A?
The named insured and members of their family
Anyone using insureds car with insureds permission or the reasonable belief he is entitled to do so
Other people/organizations to the extent that they share liability with the insured
Other people/organizations for their liability arising out of an accident involving any auto/trailer using by insured/family member
Supplementary payments include:
Up to $250 for the cost of bail bonds
Premiums on appeal bonds of bonds to release attachments
Post judgment interest (included as part of the liability limit)
Up to $200 per day for loss of earnings because of attendance at hearings/trials and the company’s request
Other reasonable expenses incurred by the insured at the company’s request
Exclusions under Part A
Damage to property owned or being transported by the insured
Damage to property rented to, used by, or in the care of the insured
BI to an insureds employees
Liability arising out of an insureds ownership or operation of a vehicle used as a public or livery conveyance; a taxi
Liability arising while the insured auto is being used in an auto business
BI or PD for which an insured is covered under a nuclear energy liability policy
Motorized vehicles with fewer than 4 wheels or designed for use off public roads
Vehicles used in prearranged racing or speed contests

Part B- Medical Payments Coverage provides protection for…
Named insured, family members, and passengers in the named insureds auto for injuries received in an accident, regardless of who was at fault
Part B does not have coverage for injuries:
Sustained while occupying a vehicle with less than four wheels
Sustained while using a covered auto as a public or livery conveyance
That would be covered under workers comp
Sustained while occupying an uninsured auto OWNED BY THE INSURED OR FURNISHED FOR HIS REGULAR USE
Sustained while occupying an uninsured auto OWNED BY A FAMILY MEMBER OR FURNISHED FOR THE FAMILY MEMBERS REGULAR USE
Sustained while the insured is occupying a vehicle without the reasonable belief that he is entitled to do so
Sustained while occupying a vehicle that is being used in the insureds business
Caused by war or nuclear hazard
Sustained while occupying a vehicle located for use as a residence or premises
Sustained during prearranged racing or speed contests
Part C- Uninsured Motorists (UM) Coverage
Indemnifies the insured for BI only as a result of an accident with a legally liable uninsured motorist. Only compensatory damages are covered; punitive damages are specifically excluded.
3 conditions that must be met for a loss to be covered under Part A- Liability Coverage
Person involved must be an insured
The insured must be legally responsible
Damage must involve BI or PD and result from an auto accident
Part D- Coverage for Damage to Your Auto aka Physical Damage Coverage pays for
Direct and accidental loss to the named insureds covered auto or any nonowned auto against loss caused by
collision; or
other than collision (otc or comprehensive). Does not cover personal property inside the vehicle
Other Than Collision consists of what
Missiles/falling objects Fire Theft or larceny Explosion or earthquake Windstorm Hail, water, or flood V&MM Riot or civil commotion Contact with bird or animal Breakage of glass
PART D also provides transportation expenses coverage which pays up to ? per day to a max of ? for:

Transportation expenses incurred by insured due to physical damage losses to insureds auto; and
Loss of use expenses for which insured becomes legally responsible because of loss to a nonowned auto

To electronic equipment that reproduces, receives, or transmits audio, visual, or data signals (not equipment permanently installed in audio)
To tapes, records, disks, and other media used with the electronic equipment above
Due to destruction or confiscation by government or civil authorities
To a camper body, trailer, or motor home that is not listed in the declarations
To a nonowned auto when used by the name insured or family member without a reasonable belief that he is entitled to do so
To awnings, cabanas, or equip,met designed to create additional living space
To custom furnishings or equipment in a pickup or van
To radar or laser detection equipment
To nonowned autos being used by any person engaged in an auto business
To nonowned autos being used in any business
To any auto being used in a prearranged racing or speed contest
To an auto rented by the named insured or a family member if the rental agency is prohibited from recovering from the insured or a family member under the provisions of state law or rental agreement
