Identity
Used in reference to one’s sense of self, and an individual’s sense of feelings and perceptions about themselves.
The categories a person uses to describe themselves in terms of their differences from other people on the micro, meso and macro levels.
National Identity
Rendered less important because of globalisation (creation of a ‘global village’), demonstrating the fluid nature of identity.
