Regulatory signs
Regulatory signs provide permission and prohibition information. Regulatory signs are usually rectangular or squared in shape and red, white, and black in color. (ex: DO NOT ENTER sign).
Oversteer versus understeer
Oversteering occurs when you take a turn too fast. Oversteering causes the rear wheels to turn faster than the front wheels. Understeering occurs when a car turns less than what is desired.

Guide signs provide information to drivers so that they can safely arrive to their destination. Guide signs are usually rectnagular or square in shape and green and white in color.

You can make a turn at a red stop light if it’s a right turn, there are no signs indicating not to, and you’ve yielded to pedestrians or traffic.
White lines versus yellow lines
White lines separate lanes that are traveling in the same direction. Yellow lines separate lanes that are traveling in opposite directions.
Solid yellow lines versus broken yellow lines
Solid yellow lines indicate that no passing is permitted. Broken yellow lines indicate passing is permitted in either direction.
What does a solid and broken yellow line together mean?
A solid and broken yellow line together indicates that if you are on the side of the solid yellow line, you may not pass.
Curb markings
White curb markings allow you to stop only for loading or unloading. Yellow curb markings allow parking for loading or unloading. Green curb markings allow parking for a limited time. Red curb markings allow no stopping or parking. Blue curb markings allow for disabled parking.
