Has a rubber ball inside it and it spins when the mouse moves and internal mouse sensors detect movement and send signals to cursor
Joystick mouse
Designed to input data using the thumb to click and palm to control the stick
Vertical mouse
Ergonomically designed to eliminate the side effects associated with long working hours
Handheld scanner
Electronic device that scans physical documents and converts them into digital format
Flatbed scanner
Optical scanner that uses a flat surface for scanning documents and images
QR reader
Machine-readable optical label that contains information about the item which it is attached
Barcode reader
Handheld scanner that scans barcodes, decodes the data and sends it to a computer
Biometric scanner
Hardware used to capture the biometrics to verify identity
Webcam
Captures digital pictures and sends to computers
Drone camera
Captures images and videos using UAV commonly known as a drone
Expansion card
Printed circuit board inserted into an expansion slot on motherboard
Graphics card
Type of display card installed in computing devices to display data
Sound card
Expansion card responsible for sending and receiving audio
Network card
Card installed on the computer that enables connecting to a network
SD card reader slot
Used to insert a memory card to be read by the computer
Impact printer
Prints characters by striking through ink ribbon with a metal or plastic head
Non-impact printer
Printers that spray tiny drops of ink onto the paper to produce the printed character
3D printer
Uses CAD to create 3D objects through a layering method
Port
Device-to-device interface that allows devices to communicate with one another
Serial port
Used to connect monitors with the system unit
