What are the components of the peripheral vascular and lymphatic exam?
A
Inspect and Palpate arms for colour, size, lesions, temperature, turgor, edema, clubbing (profile sign)
Palpate pulses: radial and brachial for rate, rhythm, elasticity, force)
Check epitrochlear node
Inspect legs for colour, size, lesions, trophic skin changes, hair distribution, venous pattern & size, ulcers
Measure calf circumference if there is asymmetry
Palpate temperature of feet and legs
Palpate inguinal nodes
Palpate pulses: femoral, popliteal, posterior tibial, dorsalis pedis for rate, rhythm, elasticity, force)
Check for pretibial edema
Assess for colour changes
