PEP 2013 His Love Is Alive Flashcards
His Love Is Alive 1
Into the silent void God spoke a world into being. A magnificent world of fields and forests, wind and waterfalls, mountains and meadows. A world teeming with all the beauty and wonder of life. And in the very heart of it all God set the joy of his creation, a man and a woman.
HLIA 2
…fell in ashes at His feet.
And so, into the silence of a Bethlehem night, God spoke again, and that Word became a human being, a baby born to a virgin, and laid in the straw of a stable. That night the quiet desert exploded with the radiant glory of an unearthly light, and the majesty of heavenly voices…
HLIA 3
… Angels sang, shepherds bowed, and all of Heaven joined the celebration. For this small child was a savior, sent to ransom the lost family of his father’s heart. This was gods only begotten son–the long-awaited Messiah. And in him God’s love was alive!
HLIA 4
…He studied the Holy Books of the Law and the Prophets.

HLIA 5
…He humbled himself to be baptized.
And on that day as Jesus came up out of the waters of baptism, He saw the Holy Spirit descending upon Him like a dove. And He hears a mighty voice that echoed like thunder across the barren desert saying, “This is my beloved Son, in Him I am well pleased!”
