Recruitment is where a company try to find a new member of staff. It may occur when a company need a new staff member or when they are low on staff

Identify the vacancy -> Job description -> person specification -> Advertise -> Shortlist -> Interview -> Appoint
What is included in the job description?
It will include the job title, day to day duties, qualifications needed, department, responsible for, pay and other benefits,
What is included in the person specification?
Job title, Required personality traits, Desired personality traits, Specific skills, Others
Analyse the good of internal recruitment?
It’s a lot cheaper and the person already knows the business.
