The advertisment will be seen by awide range of people so the candidate picked for the job may be more suited than someone whose internally picked.

A wage is usually paid to manual workers and they change depending on the amount of work done
Salaries are a fixed amount and are paid every month

The firm and worker know exactly how much the pay will be (helpful when budgeting)

Motivated workers perform better as they will produce more and better quality products
they will also stay with the company for longer reducing staff turnover which saves the company money as they won’t need to spend as much on recruiting and training new workers
How does training motivate staff?
It makes them better at their jobs and people usually enjoy what they’re good at.
