Ace of Pentacles
Upright (7):
- eruption of fresh ambition and raw energy toward material creation and success
- unexpected sum of money/money may be available through a legacy
- opportunity/new job offer/new venture
- prosperity
- abundance
- initial stages of manifesting your goals
- wealth on all levels/internally and externally
Reversed (6):
- feeling hesitant about moving forward with an opportunity
- take your time to make decisions and consider risk
- a financial opportunity falling through
- be careful with your money now, not the time to spend
- lost opportunity
- missed chance
Two of Pentacles
Upright (7):
- good at balancing priorities and responsibilities
- encouraged to manage time and priorities carefully
- could be very busy/reminder that you don’t have to be busy to get things done
- prioritization
- a time when money and energy are available for new projects
- need to put resources to work and invest/risk rather than hoard
- adapting to change
Reversed (5):
- being overcommitted
- feeling overwhelmed
- loss of balance in priorities or giving priority to the wrong things
- disorganization
- need to reprioritize

Right Side: early success in a material endeavor, not a final step so more hard work is needed, teamwork, collaboration, building
Reversed: lack of teamwork or something getting in the way of working together, disorganized, group conflict, competition, working alone
Four of Pentacles
Right Side: a warning about being too conservative and hoarding resources, conservation, security, frugality
Reversed: warning against holding too tightly to things that are wrapped in one’s sense of self-value, what you do should not be your only value, fear of loss that causes blocked self expression and stagnation, greediness, stinginess, possessiveness
Five of Pentacles
Right Side: financial difficulty or loss, loss of faith in oneself, consider where one’s nature contributed to the problem, need, poverty, insecurity, lack mindset
Reversed: recovery from financial loss, isolation, scarcity fading away
Six of Pentacles
Right Side: being the recipient or giver of generosity and benevolence often materially, faith in oneself regained, charity, generosity, sharing
Reversed: selfishness, stinginess, debt, trying to gain by giving to others, unwilling to lend help in others’ time of need
Seven of Pentacles
Right Side: difficult work decision must be made, care and forethought needed, question of developing what one has already built or put energy into a new project, investment, hard work, perseverance, diligence
Reversed: work without results, distractions, lack of rewards for time spent, looking for other opportunities
Eight of Pentacles
Right Side: can suggest a recently discovered talent that is worthy of development or a hobby could be developed into a profession, interest or enthusiasm in new field of work as a trainee at a time of life when “one should be firmly established, mastery, skill development, acquiring a new skill, education, apprenticeships, achievement
Reversed: misdirected activity, no focus, no ambition, no motivation, focused on self improvement, perfectionism to one’s detriment
Nine of Pentacles
Right Side: pleased with what one has been able to achieve, strong sense of identity and self-value, this is not an inflated sense of self value but realistic, satisfaction that doesn’t rely on anyone else’s validation, fruits of labor, independence, rewards
Reversed: mistakes, obsessions with work, setbacks, need to start investing in a sense of self worth, need to invest in yourself
Ten of Pentacles
Right Side: a period of contentment and security, a sense that one has created/established something of permanence that can be handed down to others, could be material/monetary or artistic, legacy, inheritance, culmination
Reversed: failure, lack of stability, lack of resources, not much to show for amount of effort put in, the dark side of wealth, financial failure or loss
