Chadwick sign
Congestion of the pelvic vasculature causing bluish or purplish discoloration of the vagina and cervix
Hegar’s sign
Widening of the softened area of the isthmus, resulting in compressibility on bi manual examination (6-8weeks)
Macdonalds sign
Uterus becomes flexible at the uterocervical junction (7-8weeks)
Ladin’s Sign
Uterus softens in the anterior midline along the uterocervical junction (6weeks)
Goodell’s sign
Cyanosis and softening of the cervix due to increased vascularity of the cervical tissue (4weeks)
Von Fernwald’s sign
Irregular softening of the fundus develops over the site of implantation (4-5weeks)
Leucorrhoea
Increase in vaginal discharge consisting of epithelial cells and cervical mucus which is due to hormonal situation
