A

Criminal justice system - EWT and offender profiling improve legal processes (reduces crime + saves cost)

Education - Research into memory and learning styles helps improve student outcomes (better future work-force)

Mental health treatments - Research into CBT and drug therapies can reduce time off work which can increase productivity.

What are the limitations of the economy?

A

Effectiveness varies - what works in research may not work in the real world setting hence reducing cost-effectiveness

High cost of implementation - some very effective treatments e.g: therapy can be expensive to provide on a larger scale

Long-term impacts unclear - some interventions may take years to show any economic benefit
